NHS Devon is considering changes that could see emergency cardiac services moved from Torbay Hospital to Exeter. This could mean critical delays for patients suffering heart attacks – delays that could cost lives.
What is cardiac care?
It’s everything from emergency treatment during a heart attack to managing long-term heart conditions. In a cardiac emergency, every minute matters – and Torbay’s unit is one of the best in the country for rapid response.
